Hayles Fruit Farm has been growing apples, plums and berries below the Cotswold escarpment for over a century, and its campsite sits right among the orchards. In late summer you can pick your own breakfast, and the farm shop's apple juice, pressed on site, is dangerously good.
The Cotswold Way passes the gate, leading in one direction to the romantic ruins of Hailes Abbey and in the other up to Beckbury Camp for one of the great Cotswold views.
